COFFEE CYCLING COMMUNITY

THE HUB

At Hub it’s all about slowing down, fuelling up and enjoying the beautiful surrounding countryside.  Nestled in the heart of the North Downs, we’re a gathering place for cyclists, walkers, visitors and locals alike. From post-ride coffees to well-earned breakfasts after a long walk, our café is somewhere to relax, reconnect and share the adventure with others who enjoy the same way of life. We’re built on a love for good food, great coffee, and the outdoors.

About Us

About Us

The Hub is a countryside café and meeting place in the heart of Wye, created by a group of local cycling enthusiasts who wanted to celebrate their passion for coffee, cake, and cycling. We offer speciality coffee, cakes, toasties, breakfast baps, craft beer, local cider, wines and much more. Plus, we're one of the only places in Wye were you can enjoy your drink and food with a riverside view.

Surrounded by rolling hills, trails and quiet country lanes, we’re a natural stop for cyclists, walkers, runners and anyone looking to slow down and reconnect.

More than just a café, The Hub is a place where adventures begin, stories are shared and communities come together. Whether you’re fuelling up before a ride, catching up with friends over coffee and cake, or spending your Friday night with us enjoying a glass of wine and some live music, you’ll always find a relaxed welcome here.

We're also a reflection of the community around us. You’ll find work from local artists on the walls, memorabilia and signed pieces from well-known cyclists, and even an iconic YETI FRO bike proudly mounted in the café - each piece with its own story to tell. Together, they create a space that feels lived-in, inspiring and connected to the people, passions and adventures that bring our community together.

Sustainability is also at the heart of what we do. We’re passionate about protecting the countryside that surrounds us and making thoughtful choices that reduce our impact on the environment. Wherever possible, we support local suppliers, reduce waste and embrace upcycling throughout the café - giving new life to reclaimed furniture, materials and décor to create a space with character, purpose and a lighter footprint. We're built from repurposed shipping containers, our chairs are from a local village hall, and we've made old cycling helmets into flower pots, plus lots more. We also grow our own herbs (to use in our seasonal specials) and we are cultivating the brambles in order to pick the blackberries and turn them into seasonal cocktail for our bar...

The land we're on even has it's own story. Once the site of Wye’s old bus depot, the space has been carefully transformed into something new. We’ve introduced a biodiversity garden to encourage wildlife back into the area with the intent to create a greener, more sustainable space for both people and the environment to enjoy.

At The Hub, everyone’s welcome. Muddy boots, cycling cleats, dogs, families, locals and visitors alike. Pull up a chair, take a breather and make yourself at home.

Our Mission

At the heart of our business is a commitment to great coffee, fresh food, and creating opportunities for people to grow. We provide a supportive environment where individuals can develop valuable, transferable skills while being part of a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates diversity, including neurodiversity.

Sustainability is central to everything we do. From upcycling and recycling initiatives to sourcing quality ingredients and supporting local suppliers, we strive to make a positive impact on both our community and the environment. More than just a café, we are a space for personal growth, community connection, and environmental responsibility.
